Central Kentucky’s WCGW 770 AM Southern Gospel receives National Quartet Convention 2012 Radio Station of the Year Nomination.
Lexington, KY, September 6, 2012—WCGW 770 AM Southern Gospel has received the nomination of “Radio Station of the Year” as part of the 2012 National Quartet Convention Music Awards.
WCGW 770 AM Southern Gospel stands out as the only AM Station in this final group of top Southern Gospel Stations across the country. The five radio stations selected for the “Radio Station of the Year” category are decided upon on by a committee of the Industry’s top radio promotion professionals, and voted upon by members of the Southern Gospel Music Guild as well as convention exhibitors deemed by the Awards and Criteria Committee to be experienced and knowledgeable about the Southern Gospel Music Industry.
As part of the convention, and in partnership with the Southern Gospel Music Guild, the 2012 National Quartet Convention Music Awards will be presented on Friday, September 14 at 2:30pm during the Showcase Spectaculars event.
