WLRT AM 1250 Becomes a Savage Station

WLRT 1250 AM adds Talk Radio Network’s Michael Savage to weekday lineup.

Lexington, KY, April 14, 2010--WLRT 1250 AM has added The Michael Savage Show to its weekday lineup. The program will launch Monday, April 19 and air from noon to 3pm.

The Michael Savage Show is a powerhouse in national syndication. An independent-minded individualist, Michael Savage fits no stereotype. He attacks big government and liberal media bias, but champions the environment and animal rights. Trained as a scientist, he holds Master’s degrees in medical botany and medical anthropology and earned his Ph.D. from the University of California at Berkeley in Epidemiology and Nutrition Science.

Dr. Michael Savage is the only member of the American media profiled by the iconic New Yorker Magazine which appeared in the August 3, 2009 issue. Michael Savage was named 2007’s recipient of TALKERS Magazine’s Freedom of Speech Award. Previous recognitions for Savage include his numerous nominations for Syndicated Talk Host of the Year by Radio and Records Magazine.

Michael Savage is the author of over 20 books including four NY Times Best Sellers – The Savage Nation, The Enemy Within, Liberalism is a Mental Disorder, Political Zoo, Psychological Nudity, Savage Radio Stories and his most recent book is Banned in Britain.
